I’m hoping MJ will let me toot my own horn here, and I will pay some chicken tax.

Most of you know I compose music, well I’m moving into game music and I’ve just created my first simple text-based game. If you don’t mind a bit of supernatural/horror (not that scary), I would be thrilled if you had a moment to play it and let me know what you think (the coding was doing my head in!)

I also participated in my first game jam, where people all around the world get together and make games, and that should be linked to my account now too.

Hi friends. I hope MJ doesn’t mind, but I just wanted to share something I achieved today. It’s been two years in the making but I was awarded my black belt in Jishukan today. There’s been blood, sweat and tears (and more than a little bruising) but today I earned the title ‘Shodan’.

This is so impressive, @LozzyR! I don't know you well obviously, but I admire the way that you are willing to take risks, not just in this martial art, but in your creative endeavours. With risk-taking comes the possibility of failure and many of us have a fear of failure. To see you put yourself out there with your sport, art and music is really inspiring.
