For anyone interested, the concrete was poured on Friday. I wasn't at home for it, which was probably best for everyone They were setting up when I left and screeding when I got home.

Just following up to say the next step is waiting a week for the concrete to cure, then the scaffolding will come down and be replaced with simple props until the posts are in.

Yes! It's been a loooong time coming. I first spoke to the builder 4 years ago!
