It's spirochaetes. She has way too many in her crop.

She's going to have a highly effective medication but I won't be allowed to eat her eggs any more. It's called metronidazol. Or something like that.
I didn’t know spirochetes caused issues in chickens.
Spirochetes (of different varieties) are what cause Lyme disease and Syphilis amongst other things!
 
Here she is feeling too sick to eat the mealworms the vet gave her.

Well it isn’t a word that is like any other so I am thinking yes you did.
I looked it up in the Merck veterinary manual and indeed a specific kind of spirochete infects chickens - particularly in the ceca.

Blimey. Ticks! There must be ticks in the backyard!
