Hmm, interesting idea.I was at the shop the other day and saw something called a "shoo fly".
I'll see if I can find a website.

It is really special when they start trusting you. Very sweet.
It's going to make a big difference when inevitably they have to be handled in the future.Wonderful.

Do you think it might work in your situation?Hmm, interesting idea.
Sylvie and Legertha took to riding on my arm like it was no big deal. I sometimes thought they even liked it.Tonight even Katie managed to stand quietly on my hands while being carried. A brave little hen. She's usually very flighty.
It's the feet in that photo that get me every time!Sylvie and Legertha took to riding on my arm like it was no big deal. I sometimes thought they even liked it.

I actually found a cheap (i assume knock off) version at my grocery store the other day! Seems to have potential, looking forward to some experiments.Do you think it might work in your situation?

I may get a couple for the roost. I'm sure they'd work on mosquitoes too.
Katie had her leg bandage removed last night. It's one of those tasks which is challenging for one person, a breeze for two. I supported one foot and kept my other hand over ger wings just in case. The neighbour gently removed the dressing from the leg that wasn't supported. Easy breezy.
