MJ's little flock

Suddenly alert and panting. It is a warmish day.

Well, Mary seems to have nodded off.

Makes me think that if there was anything going on, it must've stopped for now.
it's exhausting for them all. It could stop start for 24 hours plus. Just sit on your hands. I know it's hard, but it's the best thing you can do, usually.

I'd much rather check anxiously on updates for Mary 🥰 than for the other event of the day 🙄.
Yes. Although there won't be any updates of any interest on the other topic today. I guess there could be violence at the polls which would certainly be news, but too depressing to read about let alone experience.

I decided to do absolutely nothing else unless circumstances are dire. At this point, I can't smell poop in the nest, so she's on her own. I didn't even refresh her water.

That's really good to know.

I'll try not to worry and will give another update before bed and in the morning.

I didn't see anything out of the ordinary when I closed Mary's door for the night. Maybe she was a little more alert than usual, but I couldn't say for sure.

I hope I can share good news in the morning.
What day are we on MJ?

Tomorrow would have been 21 for the Welsummers and will be 20 for the bantams. They were given to Mary a day apart because of the difference in size - Perris was saying bantams often hatch a little early because they're smaller.
