Aaand Sarah was not pecked at all this morning.

She was discouraged from eating near Peggy but she ran off before Peggy had even considered delivering a peck.

And just like that, I was wrong.

I worked at home for most of today and I was very pleased to see Sarah following the flock. They led her into parts of the garden she had never seen before and she was very calm about all of it.

I'm doing okay, Todd ( my dog )is great for keeping me going. I can't believe it's going on 7 months

This weather is hard on people and the animals, Todd goes out early and then only when he really has to, otherwise, its in the house to sleep.

Do take care of yourself. Yesterday I was a bit foolish and walked to the train station at the hottest time of day. I had a neck fan and carried an umbrella and I was still a bit shaky when I got to the station.
Brutally hot. Only one more day and then it will be a bit cooler.
