MJ's little flock

Normally I test if I suspect I might have Covid. Had Covid once in December (winter) 2022 and was very sick (last vaccination was in the previous winter and it made me so sick I didn’t take the scheduled vaccination in November).

In November 2023 I had another Pfizer vaccination, with anti-vomit medicines. Got sick again, but the vomiting medicines helped.

In 2024 I skipped the vaccination again, hoping to get an alternative vaccination with HIPRA. But they didn’t manage to get the ‘green light’.

Got sick again in December 2024 when we were on a vacation. I thought it was a normal cold with fever, running nose and coughing. No vomiting, that would have triggered me to suspect Covid. We didn’t bring a test, and the pharmacies were all closed bc of New year.

Glad I was feeling a bit better again when we had to fly home. There was no possibility to postpone the flight. Insurance doesn’t cover it if you didn’t see a doctor who says you cant travel and are well enough to walk a few steps. Hope it really wasn’t Covid. I would hate it if I made someone sick.
The flight back was doable. The coughs remained for months, until I got mediation for my stomach.

We loved to take a winter break abroad in Spain or somewhere else in the Mediterranean where the weather is really nice with a bit of luck. But bc of both experiences after Covid appeared I realised I don’t want to do this anymore in December/Jan.

I feel like I should pay some kind of covid tax. Sorry MJ
