I put wheelbarrow after wheelbarrow full of leaves into the run to make it less muddy. It has been so muddy these last few weeks. I think it is really helping, there are leaves covering about half of the run, the front half. The chickens love pecking through it and finding bugs and all that great stuff. The only problem, is that they dig through it and go right down to the mud. Might have to keep adding more and more. Oh well, more time to spend with my lovely chickens!
