Ah! Because the one around here only does cattle, sheep, pigs, and goats.

Most auctions sell all sorts of livestock, including chickens. The animals they have there really just depends on the people in your area and what they are trying to sell.

Not necessarily, I think that some auctions limit themselves to large livestock. But maybe that applies to most, I only know about mine.
