Model Coop contest - entry deadline March 7,2011

I'm for it - just as long as someone else does the next ones. I wouldn't mind holding one Model Coop contest a year - it seemed like a good time to have it - when the worst of winter was over but, not warm enough for spring activities outside - so chicken people still had cabin fever and some time on their hands.

I think we have some very talented writers in this group.

Perhaps a chicken-themed short story/essay contest?? I always had fun in school when we were given several random things (eg. a lipstick, a blue van, 3 clothespins, and a $10 bill) and asked to write a mystery, for example.

I would have a LOT of fun reading the entries, that's for sure.

You can just start a new topic under Random..something like..."Myfriend's corner" (or something)...and we can stop say hello so you don't feel lonely! lol

Here is a contest idea...

Cupcakes...I entered a contest on Hello, Cupcake. It was to be a diorama and since I just got my chickens, I went with that idea. And to my surprise, I won!!! I received an autographed copy of Hello, Cupcake!

I make all kinds of cupcakes. I have made sushi cupcakes, pizza cupcakes, tacos, rice and bean cupcakes, etc. They are fun to make.

MamahenChris they are gorgeous and looking mighty tasty - I'd eat them in a minute. Of course your win makes you a professional, so I think we'd have to bar you from a Chicken cupcake contest but, you'd make a great judge. Congratulations.

maybe they could come up with Chocolate orp cupcakes - I am partial to chocolate, I wonder what they could do for frizzles? I am sooo hungry for cupcakes now.
