Models of buildings, etc.

Does anyone here make those types of models? I'm sure someone here has better ones than I do.
Here are the ones I put outside in my room, there are more inside my cupboards.

The wooden ones I made myself, I'm just glad they stand up on their own, lol. Most of the ones I have come from kits.



(And heh, we don't actually use that computer. It just happens that there's nowhere else in the house to put it, and it does have quite a collection of useful ancient documents on it. )

Those are some lovely balsa apartments! If only I were a bit smaller, I would move right in.... Like ant size.
They all look really cool, though. What is the one on the right? Looks like a crane/support beam for something.

It was meant to be a crane, although I never got round to making it any taller... You can see that the bit at the end has gone slightly wonky. I saw that and thought, rats. Now is the time to stop extending it any further.

Bwaha! I was almost right, it was a crane! In the works!
Wonky or not, still looks interesting. Maybe you could do something else with it? Use your artistic talents to make a modern-art sculpture. *BOOM*

Woohoo, my artistic talents, you hit the nail on the head. (Perhaps if I could do the same I might be able to build something on a somewhat larger scale)

For now, however, the crane is staying as it is with its clay pigeon counterweight (It used to be a Mintie but I reasoned that couldn't stay there forever... makes me lol every time I see it because the pigeon is suspended by a piece of string tied round its head. I can seriously find nothing in the house of remotely the same weight ), I have had enough of humouring my glue gun for the time being.
