Modern Bantams anyone?

Ah...well pooey!

I think I will take some photos of my chicks today. I'm hoping both are females. I know the black is for sure a female, the blue...could go either way.

Probably have them standing next to the Langshan chicks for fun!

Is it just me, or the little black one...is there some sort of brown stuff going on in her wing feathers?

I love modern games. I have a breeding pair of Birchen and I have 3 chicks all from the birchen roo but there was an oegb hen in the coop with them so they could be mixes. They where hatched early last year and Chief needs to be dubbed. I'm hoping to add some blues latter this year.

This is my first time with Modern Bantams and was just wondering how fast they mature. My two are now three weeks old and they still have very tiny combs. Can I assume they are pullets or are they slower to show if they are boys/girls? They are feathering out nicely and I believe I have a self blue and a black. Will get pics if that would help.
