I can't be bothered with the chat room, I've found the same thing, it's a clique and I don't much care for cliques.

I've always had answers to my direct questions, but it did take a while for me to feel like I was really part of the community. You just can't have a thin skin on the internet. People are busy, some just lurk and read, others post sporadically, and then others post constantly - I wonder how they have time to do anything else!

But it's all good, the only real problems are handled by the moderators.

I use to love the chatroom. I have met a lot of people there but then it seemed to be taken over by very immature young people. I don't have anything against the young people on here because I have learned that "TheOldNewChick" is just the coolest kid I have ever met!!

When I was on there I would try to welcome whoever logged on. I guess the last time I was on chat I had some of those kids make fun of me so I left and never came back.

I do miss chatting with CC, diana, buster, countryboy, Kimmy and others

sometimes it depends on the time of day too. By the time day time working people get on at night, and it gets busy, I find daytime posts can get lost. Dont give up

Don't worry Jackie, I'm new and few respond to my posts too but I figured it was because I was new and not in the 'clique' yet or is it cluck?

I think a lot of posts just get buried real fast, that's all. Some subjects or breeds are more popular than others.

Jackie , I think with your assertiveness you could be a vice-presidential candidate. I would like to hear more of your agenda to remedy this isolation feeling. I think that everyone here has had a topic flop in some conversation. I hesitate sometimes because I already have too many past feet in my mouth! I love the variety of topics on here. People expressing themselves from everywhere, and ny the way that is a beautiful butterfly!
