Molt??

I have two RIR one year old laying one egg each every day, one of them is loosing feathers on her neck, the other one looks normal. Is this ok, normal? What do I need to do?

I have two RIR too an they both have bare necks. I was wondering the same thing. I did recently have feather-eating mites in my coop, but I don't think that's it. Maybe it's just a RIR thing...
