molting or to young

i have 4 glw about 12 wks old.looks like there molting is it possable .

I guess anything is possible but it seems too young to me.

They go through mini-molts until the major molt at 18 months or so (when they are almost 2 years old or thereabouts, in fall/winter). So you will find the feather explosions in the coop as they get more adult feathering.

will i tried looking mites ,really didnt see any , iam in wi just start to get really cold didnt wont to come out if the coop.

At that age, they go through a juvenile molt. They are losing their baby feathers and getting their adult feathers.
