So, our three hens (one GL Wyandotte, one Welsummer, one not sure) are about a year old. The unknown breed started molting a couple weeks ago, the Welsummer just started several days ago, and the Wyandotte is still laying every day and showing no signs of molting. Maybe she will skip this season because of their age young age? Or is it inevitable that she will molt here before too long? Will they start laying again after they molt, or will they wait until spring? I've heard Wyandottes lay through the winter. This is our first batch of chickens so I truly have no idea what to expect.

The last one will probably molt soon. And yes, they will start back up when they are done molting. Average time before they start laying again is roughly 3 months. (some are a bit faster, some a bit slower) Once their feathers are back in, they need to get their weight back up before they start laying again. You can increase protein to help them along: meat scraps, mealworms, tuna, cooked eggs (I know you aren't getting any) are all good protein sources.
