I have a chicken that is acting "off" for about 10 days ago, I noticed her comb had folded over and her neck pulled close to body. She was acting normal otherwise, eating and foraging.
I wormed the flock _ 14 chickens. All others are seem fine.
The sickly chick seemed ok, until I picked her up and noticed weight loss.
4 days ago these black spots showed up on her comb. They could have been there before, but became very obvious 4 days ago.
She is the only one affected at this time. Today, she stayed on the roost and did not want to go outside with the flock.
Any ideas would be appreciated. I have not seen the same black spot as shown in other posts.
She is or was a dominant chicken, so I don't think pecking has been the issue.
She is less than 1 year.
I do not have a rooster.
No sign of mites.
