So sorry, what a bad time for your flock! There certainly are toxins and poisonous plants out there, don't know if any would cause these issues.

I can take her in today (2hr drive, $250), but if I wait until Saturday, I can take her to the local vet for $150.

So how urgent is this situation? I've not experienced this in a duck.

Marmalade pooped, and it is white. I have a bad feeling....

Marmalade is laying internally. Vet seems hopeful because there doesn't appear to be much damage yet. I caught it early, I guess. She drained her and started her on antibiotics.

She will be on antibiotics and anti-inflammatory meds for 3 weeks. Then more xrays.

Vet also recommended more calcium, so I will start that asap - treats with gluconate or maybe tabs daily for all of the ducks. I hope to separate them from the chickens, but can't do it yet. I gave 2 roosters who I don't want eating layer pellet.

Any other ideas for how to increase calcium for just the ducks?

The Calcium Glu is the best I know of.

No infection yet, apparently. Xrays show a large egg with a soft shell and at least 1 additional intact yolk.

$850 later.... Ouch...
