I live in NW FL and mosquitoes are a mess. I've been scouring through google trying to find some answers. I've read a ton of articles/threads hyping up Muscovys as mosquito and fly assassins that "will snatch them straight out of the air as early as a few weeks old".... but not a whole lot on other ducks(mallard stock).

I'm getting anconas in and they are supposed to be pretty good foragers. I'm not worried about larva(since I have no standing water). Just the adult mosquitoes.

Does anyone see their non-muscovy ducks doing a decent number on mosquitoes? or even pursuing them?

Not a huge deal but will be a very nice bonus if they cant put a dent in the population!

I've watched my Saxonies chase moths but can't say I witnessed them going after mosquitoes.
