Mosquitoes won't leave ducklings alone!

This is the kind of crazy stuff I can come up with on sleepless nights. Dual purpose bug zapper/ Automatic Poultry Feeder. Maybe I am onto something big here and just don't know it yet! Just like the last time I was at the Airport and was waiting for my ship to come in...... That didn't go over so well either! :lau

As Redneck as this may sound, I hung a bug zapper up in our Coop. Works great and the birds love what drops from it! :lau
Not to be critical...
But for the sake of everyone reading dealing with mosquito issues..
Bug zappers kill very few mosquitos but DO kill a lot of harmless bugs that should be out pollinating things and being a food source for other small critters.
I'm not a bug zapper fan.

I have a lot of mosquito problems here. Biggest thing is keeping your duck water changed on a regular basis and attempt to keep your ground dry. If you don't have good drainage,
Move your water dishes or pools around to avoid saturated ground.
Keep your grass cut short.. Eliminate any standing water that you can.
I don't know why they wanna swarm the ducks. I guess because the ducks are warm and damp?
I have had this problem before too.
I let the ducks out of their pen and used an off yard fogger a few times to cut down on them.
