What is the best thing to use for mosquitoes around your flock?

Plant citronella around the run/coop. But on the other hand the girls should eat the buggers.

Ok thank you. I recently finished my new coop and run area for my additions to my flock and got back there and they were tearing me up so thought I'd ask fellow chickeneers

Actually on a side note and now that it comes to my brain ha ha can citronella be planted in a moveable pot as well? Asking because my coop now should be moving soon to our new home and I would hate to plant all those and not be able to take them with me?

Yes, I have citronella in a planter on my porch. (I HATE mosquitoes!)
Plant LOTS of it!
You can "activate" the scent by rubbing your hands thru the leaves.
