You GOOOOOOOOOOOOO girl!

Helped out a Harley dude today....Was on my way to Home depot to pick up MORE lumber to continue my chicken taj mahal today when I see a dude with a bike on the side of the road and w cell phone in hand with "that' look on his face..I pull over and asked if he needed help...He said he called 'Hog' (whatever that is?) and got no reply. I look down and he's got a flat..UGG..that sucks!
So I told him to sit tight and I'd be back. I turned around went and got my bike and went to work...

As I do some heavy duty miles on my bike, I am prepared for 3 things..hot/cold weather. wet weather and FLATS...So I pull up next to him, pull out my flat tire kit and an air compressor. (yes they make air compressors for bikes) So plug his flat, pump his tire up while introducing him to the ST. So a few minutes later, his flat is fixed, shake my hand with a heartfelt thank you and he is on his way...(Unfortunately NO helmet..but hey its HIS skull..whatever..dont get me started) I wish him luck and safe travels...
Felt good knowing I made what might have been a miserable day a lot easier...All you riders sould look into the same thing.."A slime mini air compressor".. highly recommended...Connecticut to Ontario, Canada in a week..CANT week. Should be a good 2,000+ mile weekend coming up! ;-)

HOG is HD's version of AAA's road side service. So much for that!

I ride a Dyna street bob... 1550 cc's fun bike!

Saturday .. we decide to take the bikes down to the hospital where FIL is at. It's about 90 miles.. down a busy freeway, right through Houston .. ugh. The ride went ok, and it was REALLY hot at noon when we were thinking about coming back, so we decided to go on to Galveston instead.

Had to buy swim trunks and a sun dress so that we could get in the water .. and there was nowhere to change except right on the seawall.. You'd be surprised what you can do without anyone noticing .. we were very discreet ..

Then we played in the water, rinsed off, changed back into our jeans and boots .. parked on the Strand and cooled off inside a little bar/grill.

To make a very loooooooooooong story short .. we ended up getting home after 10pm .. EXHAUSTED ... and then had to put chickens up, potty dogs, rinse out our clothes .. bathe .. and go to bed ...

It was an exhausting, fun day!!
