You wouldn't get a mottled silkie right away in the F2 generation. The comb, skin color and general body shape have to be correct for that. You may not get a correct comb in the F2 generation.

My pekin hen has layed her first egg.

I wouldn't hatch any eggs she lays for the first month, because she's just getting into the swing of things.

She finally started laying constantly a few weeks ago and has a dosen she has now started sitting on, 2 days ago.

Just checked her eggs, 11/12 are fertile. Go adam the silkie rooster. Hes doing the job.
