Sadly, I've not had much experience with losing pets I'm close to. I've lost guinea pigs, hamsters an fish but that's nothing to chickens or dogs especially. I've never lost a chicken and dread the day I do but I would rather lose my whole flock than lose my dog whom I've grown up. Oh it'll be a sad day when Simba passes. (I'm tearing up just thinking about it)

Ah, losing pets is always hard. I've lost dogs, cats, fish, mice, parakeets, (They were technically my Grandma's parakeets but one if my sisters and I named them) and now Celestia. My youngest sis Abby who's five years old has been taking Celestia's death pretty hard to. When I got the chickens Abby named Celestia, and kind of considered Celestia "her" chicken. Abby made Celestia an adorable get better picture yesterday. When my mom told Abby this morning that Celestia had died Abby hid under a blanket in the living room and cried. I feel really bad for her.

It'll be alright Sarah, think about happy things for now.
