One of my RIR hens named Jackie has a really big comb. Last night I was going to put Vaseline on her comb because it was going to be cold and I didn't want her to get frostbite. Well, I forgot to put it on so I hope she didn't get frostbite.

where i live they use them as bait they starve them and then put them in with a pittbull or some other breed like that

Thanks Sarah. I read your article and so far she was acting normal, eating and her comb looked fine but I still worry.
