I'm so mad at myself right now. I went out to the coop this morning and I think Jackie has frostbite. I'm just wondering how. The humidity has been low, there's good ventilation without drafts, it wasn't very cold the last 2 nights, and I've been rubbing Vaseline on her comb every night. It just doesn't make sense.

Oh, no! How cold has it been getting at night? Try putting aloe vera on her comb, that helps burns and frostbite.

I will. Last night it was 7 degrees and I can't remember how cold it was the night before but I know it didn't get below 0. Last Sunday it was -17 and she was fine so this is just so confusing.
