We sometimes have fall colors and deer, aka mini elk. xD
I never see deer because they are always hunted.

Ah I see. Believe it or not, we see elk way more than we see deer. However, we did have a mother deer give birth to twins on our mountain in our backyard this and she's been raising them all summer up there.
We almost never see moose.

Thanks! We are going to a Halloween party Nov. 1st. Last year there was somebody dressed as a hot dog and the little ones chased him the whole 2 1/2 hours of the party. I wonder what will happen when I go there in my turkey costume.

Wow! You would think the elk would be more shy..and that is awesome that a mother deer had fawns right on your mountain! Lucky. I also recall going to west Texas and seeing two bucks run across the road, luckily they both made it safely.

Yeah. Deer are very shy around here. Elk are just everywhere.

Oh and for those that read my post about the man getting jabbed by an elk in the back, I have more news. Sounds like he was being an idiot and went up to the bull and slapped it on the butt.

That's why the bull attacked him.
