We made it into the park this morning! There weren't as many elk but we still got some decent shots. This Aspen had every fall color in it!:love
Oooh pretty!
Oh and for those that read my post about the man getting jabbed by an elk in the back, I have more news. Sounds like he was being an idiot and went up to the bull and slapped it on the butt. :rant That's why the bull attacked him.
oh my

..wow. He should have known better not to slap a wild animal on the bottom. If you hit a elk or any other wild animal, it will see you as a attacker and fight back!

I hope he doesn't die, but if he slapped a wild animal he got what was coming.

IKR?! I don't understand his reasoning at all. He will live and is stable at the hospital. Now we just need to hope that bull doesn't get put to sleep for "attacking a human."

Ah I see. Believe it or not, we see elk way more than we see deer. However, we did have a mother deer give birth to twins on our mountain in our backyard this and she's been raising them all summer up there.
We almost never see moose.

That reminds me, yesterday night during my run I saw a mama deer with triplets run across the road into our field. :love
