Hey... does anyone know if thewild berries that grow in orange and red colors are poisonous? We were always told they were, but we were told that about wild strawberries, too, and you can eat those...
I wanted to check because I keep researching and can't find anythign about them. They grow near our blackberries and black raspberries. We harvest the blackberries and black raspberries next week into August. We make jelly and eat them.
There's a ton of thsoe orange and red berries ALL over. I want to know if they're useful for anything and if they really are poisonous. Looks like we're going to have a lot of blackberries and black raspberries this year. Last year was the plants' break year. This year all of the 100+ plants have 50+ berries on each!

The berries, right? I don't have any right now, but I am going to get some pics tonight. They aren't very big berries and the orange ones grow on a separate plant. The plants are similar though. The only differenc, I think is the color of berry.
