I just found the coolest little birdie EVER. It's called a Dowitcher (XD even the name is cool) the little buddy seems to like my ducky fluffers!

Aw, they are cool!! *-*

But, I think this is the coolest bird ever (The Black Heron):

It makes a shady place, so it can catch fish. XD

I did a checkup on my guinea pigs...
I cut the fur off their butts, because they have thick fur which gets covered in urine. On Scruff, it blocks up his scent gland too. So, I cut it, because I don't want them getting fly strike. :/
I checked Cupcake over; she was pretty good. :) She's a little overweight, and had quite a urine soak butt, but she was pretty healthy.
Then, I checked Scruff; he's not very good... :hit He has swollen feet, misty eyes, a blocked scent gland, he's balding, and he's really underweight - I can feel all of his bones.
I don't know whether or not to take him to the vets. They'd probably just put him down - he's about six years old, so he's not young anymore - but I don't know if he's in pain.

I'm sorry Shannon :( But you really should take him to the vets, you never know they might be able to save him.

oh my goodness that's what that is! I see those all the time here and have no idea what there doing

YOU SEE THEM? *-* AWESOME.
Yep, they fish like that.
You'll probably see them following other fishing birds. When the other birds fish, the Black Herons make a shady area where the fish swim to; because they think it's a place to hide. Then the Black Herons eat them. XD

Ooh is that the bird that sticks out its wings like an umbrella?

Yup!

They don't even try to save old animals, especially not rodents. He'd be put down.

Everyone keeps telling me that "he's fine" and he doesn't need to go to the vet, but I think he's in pain. And I don't want him in pain. But, I need a lift to the vets, because I can't drive. :/

Well even if he does need to be down I'm sure it'd be for the best :( I've had many hamsters who have had to be put down so I understand.

:hugs
I've had rats, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, cockatiels, dogs, cats, snails, snakes, you name it - but it's still really difficult for me to let them go. :hit
But, I know when an animal is in pain, and that feels 100x worse than me letting them go.
I need to make a vet appointment, and I need to find somebody to drive me there. I'll see if I can get Dylan checked too, because he has a few lumps. :/

Yeah it sucks :( I've had Syrians and robo's, fish, snails and now we have three stray cats which are most likely going to be put down, it's hard to let go.

Hope you find someone to drive you :hugs
