Cricket's tendon just slipped to the other side today.I put her back in the sling to hold her leg straight. Please pray with me that her tendon will heal in the right place and that she can be a normal fluttery Guinea like the others!

The pigeon has broken it's wing right at the joint. It's snapped through the skin. There's not a lot of blood, but it must be in major pain. We're going to see if we can get a place at the emergency vets for it tomorrow.
We've not done much, except for give it water and put it somewhere safe.![]()
How old do you think it is? Could you post a pic?None of the vets are open tomorrow, and the only rescue we can reach is full.![]()
We've had to improvise. We've cleaned the joint and wrapped the wing with a bandage we found. Hopefully that'll stop it from flapping it around. It seems a bit wobbly, but I think that's because it's a little stressed, and it doesn't know what to do about the bandage. We don't have any pain relief.
It's thin, and it won't really eat. We've given it a little bit of water, but I don't think it was enough.
It just needs to make it through tomorrow. Then we can take it to a vet on Monday.
