Well we're right on the coast so it does get very windy; but we're building a walled garden, so they could live there. I heard that guinea pigs shouldn't eat seeds, is that true?

Don't build a wall, that'll make the wind stronger when it hits your garden. You want to look into growning evergreen hedges - because the leaves slow the wind and calm it down. :P
We built a 6ft fence and that was a terrible idea. The garden gets trashed every Autumn, because of all the wind. )-)

And, they shouldn't eat apple seeds. But I've not really heard much about other seeds. :P

No a walled garden, as in we're going to be digging down a foot or two and then building the four stone walls a foot or two higher. There is a walled garden near to us that grows fruit and veg very successfully :) We're also going to be planting as many trees and bushes on our land as possible.

Oh, yeah, that's pretty cool. XD
We grew a ton of trees and shrubs in our garden. *-*

I love trees. That sounds weird, but I really miss them since moving here.

The south coast, I.e Cornwall, is beautiful. You can grow palm trees and bananas. But here we are literally right on the coast. There is a beach right next to our house, and no trees grow here :(
