Do you have a picture? It's not unusual for eggs to have blood spots in them.

I had that with one of mine when she was just starting to lay, but nothing happened so I think your chicken is fine.

No, my mom told me to wash it and put it somewhere in the fridge so I can fry it up for the chickens, so that's what I did. I wish I would have taken a picture now.
