Dan: Yes she's a blue and gold macaw we've had her,her whole life and she's about 12-13 years old and is likely to live up to 60 years old so I could easily end up with her when my parents get old and I would definitely keep her she's like my really mean loud sister XD

Shan: Thanks! I'm very good at taming animals I've tamed a large number of feral cats and birds, cats are instinctually wild so taming them is suppose to be really difficult but I've tamed a lot of feral cats/kittens.We've had our cats give birth and hide their kittens on our property but that's like trying to find a needle in a hay stack so I'd have to wait until they start exploring.Ive caught probably 15 feral kittens and tamed them all and gave most of them homes we kept quite a few as well our females are spayed now but I have a lot of experience with cats and the way they think and the overall phsychology of cats.Same goes with birds.I think I might be an animal behaviorist as an adult because I love finding the reasons for the way an animal behaves. This macaw is difficult because if she gets a finger with her beak she could easily break them she has enough strength to break a broom stick.

Wow!
I am generally good at taming animals. They told me Egglantine was going to be flighty and unfriendly, but that's the complete opposite of her personality. XD I taught her how kind and generous people can be, and Marigold taught her how to raid the kitchen... and she's really friendly and adventurous now!

I'm not one for cats, although I don't think it would be too difficult to tame one.. :P
I was actually considering adopting any pets I wanted in the future, I reckon I could tame down some of the less friendly ones.

Thanks for catching that!

No problem! :)

XD we treat our pets like family they are family actually we care about them more then most people to XD my life revolves around animals 100% we have about 55!

Exactly! I agree with you completely!
We don't treat our pets like animals, we treat them like true family.

Well being a "nerd" isn't always bad.
I like to research things too. (as long as it's a subject I'm interested in).

Nope, I enjoy being a geeky, nerdy, weird girl. XD

Hello!
woot.gif

Ok thanks. It has several toys, food, water, 4 perches. We give it carrots to bite but I don't think she actually eats them. The pet store clipped her wings but not very much apparently. When she's in her cage she eats a lot. We haven't seen her drink, though.

Well each bird is different just like people so if it doesn't like carrots try something different my sister gives hers collard greens for the vitamin A which hers developed a deficiency for due to not getting enough from seeds. When wings are clipped it doesn't completely impair them it's just so they don't fly off if they get outside or something of that sort and be very careful of fans! I'm sure it's drinking unless it can't find the water or doesn't know where it's at in which case maybe spill a little to get her attention towards the dish. :) And your very welcome always love to help!
