Everyone, I have a really big conundrum and I need lots of help, because I can't figure it out by myself. Trust me, I've tried.

Okay, here it is:
It started about a month ago, my Mum was looking through Facebook and she came across a familiar face. She showed me and it turned out to be my old best friend. (She actually looks a lot like Sarah!! )
I want to contact her over Facebook, but there's a whole bunch of reasons that make me feel as though I shouldn't. For instance, I haven't seen her in over four years and I don't know if she'll remember me.
Anyway, I wouldn't have a clue what to say even if I was certain that I wanted to contact her.

So:
1. Do you think I should contact her or not?
2. What would I say?

So much has changed these past few years... I don't know if I should... But I really want to. :/

Contact her! I randomly email friends I haven't emailed in months. You can start out by saying:
Hi, *insert name here*. This is Shannon *last name*. and so on! But don't leave a gap! If you feel like you want to contact her, don't wait
