My mother says she "saw" her. Which I don't believe. I looked EVERYWHERE in the backyard. I stayed in a chicken coop for 30 mins to hear her squawk or something. Nothing. I gave up.

I'm really negative she won't come back. I've seen a couple of my chickens disappear. So yeah

(I don't know if you heard, but Jill is back in the house because she was skin and bones.....again, and Feathers is in the coop, in her pet porter, because the others have been bullying her terribly. I left her unsupervised in the coop yesterday while I cleaned out her pet porter, and when I came back five minutes later the others had pecked and bullied her so that her comb was bleeding.

Lovey hasn't left the coop all day. She's not eating or drinking. She's just sitting there. I can't pull her out, because the bloody door is broken. I don't know what to do. I think she's going to die.

I feel horrible for wanting her to die. But no medicine helps and no one wants to help me help her. I think she's in pain and I don't want her to be.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Shannon!  Believe me, I understand. As much as I love Gracie, I now am hoping God takes her home soon simply because all she does is lay on the floor. She's losing weight, her comb is shrinking and she's not the chicken I once knew. I'm so heart-broken to see her personality slowly leave her.

I don't think I want her to pull through. She's so sick that she isn't living properly anymore. That's not right. I'd rather her just go to heaven and never suffer again.
