"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." -Philippians 4:6

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." -Isaiah 41:10

Shannon, I will keep you in my prayers! Try to focus on the positive. Don't be dissuaded from keeping chickens. You are an amazing strong person, please don't give up! sometimes things happen that can't be helped, but there is a reason for everything my friend.

I try to, but, right now, I'm not even in the mood. I just want to cry and be upset, so I come out a stronger person.
I've decided to not have anymore pets for a long time. I can't handle them all, myself, them dying, the constant stress and worry, all of the jobs, the sickness and having so many pets costs so much (I feel really bad about making my parents pay for them too ). Plus, I'm allergic to them and their beddings. I mean, I love them more than anyone will ever know, but it's all too much. It's best to just have one or two pets, not 15+. I definitely don't want any chickens until the garden has settled and ours have long passed. Even then, I'd probably just have a few bantams. Hopefully, I'll have a job and be able to pay for them myself, too.

Oh Shannon, my heart just shattered into a million pieces. I'm so so sorry, I can't imagine what your going through right now. Sending hugs and prayers to you.

Wether you believe in a God or not, this is a verse that always comes to my mind when I'm in a a difficult situation.
