I think I would pick artistic or kindhearted for you, Silkie. ^-^

So, I started making random parrot noises. Usually, "Rabble-dabble-dabble." in a parrot accent. And Pookie has started to copy me! I was upstairs, reading my book, and I heard her copying my words! I can't even believe it! I mean, she's done it before with whistles, but not with words!
She's a female bird; apparently, she's not supposed to pick up words this easy. XD XD

HHH!!!!
I almost squashed my silkie chick!!!! I was placing down the feeder after I refilled it,it wasn't set down all the way, I heard a squeak then saw twix was under their!! She squeezed out just in time! Everyone is doing fine now. Oh and today is my birthday I didn't get a rabbit like I hoped but I did get water proof muck boots like I needed!!! I'm happy about that
Who here loves chicken pot pie? I could eat it every day!!!

Anyone else feel terribly awkward around an animal that you know is dying? Like i try to distance myse!f from the end of the barn where i volunteer cause theres this gorgeous white mare who is 26 who they might have to euthanize. I don't want to get attached to her, but i always end up working with her.
I feel bad not givin her attention, yet if she dies i don't want to be attached if you know what i mean. It's hard enough when my own animals die. :/

Yeah, I know how that is. I distance myself from most of my pets when I know they're going to die. I never distanced myself from Egglantine when she was having fits, because I was determined to save her (which I did! ). But, I'll either try to save them or, if they're too far gone, I distance myself a little. I try not to get attached to the wild animals we rescue, but I always get attached and a fair majority end up dying. :/ I try to remember that death is important. Even if it's sad.

Yeah. They're really awesome birds (although, a lot of people consider them pests). I'd have one as a pet, if I had the time. XD.

It upset me, because the rook (we named Cackles) died in my arms. Like Pinkie and Einstein had.
It wobbled about and fell over, so I picked it up and tried to calm it. It seemed to get better for a moment, and everyone - except me - was sort of cheering. But, I knew what it meant. It was the burst of energy that all animals experience before they die. It stopped moving and it's head dropped, just like Einstein and Pinkie's had. I knew, then, that it was gone. My little brother kept saying, "I could still be alive." I had to explain to him that it was gone. As much as I wanted to cry, I sort of held myself together. It really upset my Mum. She didn't cry, but I knew she was on the verge of tears, like I was. That made me even more upset.

When I caught it and we were bringing it home, I felt so happy. I truly felt like some kind of angel. I had an indescribable feeling inside of me.

It's a shame we couldn't save it completely.
