Went to a Christian thrift store yesterday... Clothes were somewhat cheap... Found a nice wrangler shirt arts
Was trying on some jeans and went to pull them up and they have the tags stapled on the clothes, so when I pulled up these jeans, one of the staples caught in my right hand and ripped it at the base knuckle of my pointer finger and part way up the finger. Glad it isn't my left hand or I'd be out of playing violin for a while...
Anyways, the boys got more stuff than the girls on this trip...and they spent more. Maybe cuz I'm a saver, not a spender and I checked prices before I even looked at te clothes.

So sorry about your finger! at least it is your bow hand; that would be rough with it on your right hand! I know from experience!

Yeah... I usually try and keep my hands from getting beat up, but it never happens
I just like to jump in and get my hands dirty so they always end up calloused, cut up, and sore
I need to find a hand cream thathelps keep callouses instead of softening them. After three days of practice I'll have nice callouses on the tips of my fingers, then when I get a shower the callouses get softened and when I practice my finger tips will get sore :rollseyes:
