If I can have all of your prayers right now, please. My chicken Belle died about an hour ago. My mom was having a nap and we were just sitting around and then we heard faint dog barking and children screaming. We thought it was just some kids having fun but when we went to check on the chickens we saw Belle outside the pen, dead. I'm not sure if it was a dog but it seems most likely. A dog a little while ago tried to attack one of our chickens and thankfully, didn't succeed. I'll miss you Belle. You were a mother to our chicks. You were so gentle. Jesus has you in his hands.

I'm so sorry! I'm praying for you.

Well it turns out that Belle didn't die. It was Pickle. I'm just trying to imagine the terror that Pickle must have felt before she died. R.I.P Pickle. You weren't with us long but you had a special way of making us happy.
