Mountain Peeps's Chat Thread...Continued!

I'm so sorry Lily. :hugs God will take amazing care of her. :hugs
Are you raising the ducklings for meat? I can't remember if you've told us before, but anyways I was wondering because I'm going to be taking market ducks to the fair this year and I was wondering if you had any pointers.
You will be missed. :hugs I really loved talking to you and if you ever make a new account when you're older, send me a PM and tell me it's FlockMaster. :) May God bless you Jake! Good luck! :hugs
Awesome! :D

I'll try and raise a few. Well, they grow super fast and are Pretty much ready anytime after 2 to 2 1/2 months of age. (At least my pekins are)

Thanks! :) I read that they normally reach market weight within 7-9 weeks, and the normal market weight is 7.5-8.5 weeks. I figure if I get them 8 weeks until fair they will be about 8 pounds. I would be very pleased if it ended up this way, but I know it's tough getting what you want.
Aw, they're beautiful!

X2! :)

I think I've decided on Temari. :p

Thanks.
Aw I'm sorry. I hate when you lose 'family members'.

Yeah, luckily I've never lost a bird to an animal attack so far. Both those attacks happened when Ruby and Roxy were with their previous owner. I was bummed though because I was going to get Ruby and her two flockmates, but then an animal got in the coop and spared only her. :/

Yeah. It's from shooting an bow bare, no release, glove, or tab. I have a index finger/wrist release, I just seem to get target panic when I use it, so I'm getting a glove next Tuesday.

He only looks it cause he's all puffed up for me....

I guess he's a show off....
