I totally know what you mean! My one chicken, Susie has NO tail feathers. She looks pathetic!

Poor Susie. Pebbles looks pretty pathetic too.

It is pretty low, maybe a dozen eggs since the end of August. (That's when it really dropped.) I'm starting to see mostly new back, side and wing feathers though so I'm hoping it picks up soon (plus I got 2 eggs this morning )

So after a few days of bickering they finally seem to have settled down Barney is definitely better at getting blows in.

Anyway on the bright side there are no serious injuries, just a bunch of comb cuts.

The birds of prey have been migrating up here. I've seen quite a few Bald Eagles and other hawks/falcons/birds of prey.
