So I’m curious about adding my new pullets to the established flock. I’ve got 7 birds outside and 8 in the brooder we’ve got a long time but I want to be ready. If I’m supposed to keep new birds in the coop for a couple days how do I get my veterans in and out? I don’t have the space for a second coop and wouldn’t that confuse them? To be moved from the garage to the temp coop, to main coop? Thank you

My 7 big girls roam our fenced 1/4 acre I have an enclosed area I take the littles out during sunny days.
But it is not within view of the big gals I will move them together but fenced off when the weather turns better it’s mostly shaded and some of the littles haven’t quite feathered out all the way yet.

Thanks for the link. I went ahead and put in the work and moved the littles out they’ve been in the coop for almost a week it’s a little tight for now but as soon as they’re big enough to hold their own I can take down the divider and spread out the roosts again
