Moving with our pets from CA to AK how's?don'ts?and do's?

Thank you very much 💐 I've already contacted Canadian customs and they suppose to email me info within 10 business days. And we are really far away from newscastle so hopefully we will be ok as far as outbreak issues but if not that's why I'm looking for any advice I want to cover every little thing possible!
What was the outcome from your email regarding chickens? I want to move my chickens and ducks to Alaska from Colorado and am curious what you found out.

Actually, when it was -20 earlier this month, my outside sensor was telling me it was 58 in the coop. My husband said "oh maybe it's on fire..." like no, it would be higher than that, there is no heat and I just pulled in the driveway... it isnt on fire. 🤦‍♀️ I go out and one of the girls has knocked over the sensor and is sitting on top of it. So -20 outside and 58 under the feathers on her belly. That made me feel much more comfortable with how well they can manage.
This is great to know! We have been debating heat, I am also fire paranoid and not doing it! We are in Illinois its has been around -15 lately but my girls have been happy in their covered run.

They posted a later post about it
Update!
This is an email I've got from CFIA, hope it helps others who are moving as well!
