Mt. Healthy Hatchery order arrived (PICS)

If you check out their webpage they have some great deals if you are looking for hundreds of fryers. 200 for 36.00, .18 a bird not a bad price from all the looking around I have done. I have to go to my local Agway and see how the birds look they get them in on the 25th from Mt. Healthly.

I ordered my chicks from Mt. Healthy, but I'm picking them up on 4/20 because we live fairly close to the area and I'm only getting 18. Their customer service is very nice. Those Giants are so cute! Love the coloring! I can't wait to get mine!

Boy I just never, ever get tired of looking at chick pictures. They sure do look fat and sassy. You will have to post pics as they grow. Are these the ones who are going to populate those fabulous new runs off the barn???

For those who have ordered and their birds are grown...did you have any issues with sexing from Mt. Healthy?

I have a friend who ordered 25, half of one breed and half of another - each breed was to be all pullets and one roo. For the one group he got 8 pullets and 5 roos.

For the other group he got 6 pullets and 6 roos. Not very good considering he didn't order straight run, but that's what he got basically. Any other sexing experiences from this hatchery? I'm wondering if they just messed up his order or if this is the common experience with poor sexing there.

Aren't they pudgy little pumpkins? I love the pics. They looks so healthy. Congrats - hope you really enjoy them.

Jody, hey I can't answer about when you order specifically pullets as I ordered St. Run but am really impressed as their seems to be way more pullets in all 4 breeds than roosters. Was pleasantly surprised to say the least.

Jada, Mt. Healthy is where they came from and they are in Ohio, and they are some really healthy chicks. Glad that Jack is doing well, hope you are enjoying him.

red-hen yes they are pudgly lil rascals and they are very healthy, haven't lost a chick from the whole bunch. I have overall been very impressed with this hatchery.
