We have a lot of honeysuckle around the trees out there…..i hadn’t encountered any before today though. I’m not exactly sure why they were in the hay either, but I’m guessing they attacked because the pigs basically walked through the hay they were in. I just happened to be in their escape routeMy honeybees would get on the ground during the winter gathering the fines from flaked corn as if it were pollen. The only time I saw them attack anything was a mule deer buck who couldn't wait and grabbed a mouthful of corn, bees and all. Looked like he got stung in the mouth and took out of there fast with bees chasing him.
It isn't normal for honeybees that are gathering pollen, nectar or water to attack.
