It amazes me when people say "I'm bored". Like you said, there's always plenty of work to do, especially if you have animals. 🙂
We are NEVER bored!!!! Too many critters ina addition to full time biz plus way too many hobbies!!!!

My Mr. likes to tell people we have 50+ birds, but that was when we had lots of chicks and ducklings.:D Now down to "only" 30! 15 Dux, (2 are just ducklings)17 chickens, and the ~dozen half grown chicks (some cockerels) in the brooder do not count as chickens yet, according to the well established rules of "chicken math". ;) We do not count Dylan the African Grey parrot who is my avatar, she is a family member and leader of the flock!

We turn and freshen up all the aviary and run either in between batches or once per quarter whichever comes first. We are a bit overdue as last was a spring cleaning and we have been putting off the rabbit waste box for like over a year!
Now it is compost you could just spread out on the grass!

I’ve always gone a bit overboard 😂 especially according to mr muddy :th

We were planning to put it on the garden but they keep peeing on it keeping it too yucky
Not having had fresh rabbit poo, I defer to your judgement. I have spread some pretty rank chicken litter on the grass with great results. Spread, water it in good, watch it grow!

I don’t do this step wi
I skip this step with other birds but the Cornish get nasty in my current run especially by 12 weeks
My CornishX did not get nasty. They kept themselves pretty clean. Of course they had lots of room including a 2500 sq. ft. run.

Not all of us have the beauty of your large parcel…..I do the best with what I have and unfortunately due to the current situation, I had to order a 20 chick minimum to have Cornish at all this year :th but on the upside none of them had bumblefoot!!!!!

I always did a 25 chick order. Most got processed as fryers but I always kept a few to make 10 lb. roasters from.

I think my extra cockerels from my legbar project are tastier.
