Muddy Ducks

I'm new to ducks, so I'm wondering...do everyone's ducks like to play in/eat mud? I came home to ducks covered from head to toe in mud yesterday. They pooped mud for a while after I got them cleaned up.

My ducks (white pekins) absolutely adore playing and dabbling in the mud lol it's a duck thing.

It's definitely a duck thing. Mine love to dabble in the mud.

jaylilsmom, do your Pekins "whistle"? I am not hearing any quacks yet, but my Pekin seems to whistle at me, especially when she's following me.

They don't "whistle" perse but they do what's called trilling when they are very content. Mine are 12+ weeks old so they are very loud quackers now.

They LOVE mud! Mine get have to get a shower sometimes (I hose them off on the shower setting) they love that too lol
