I know there are a lot of posts about hatcheries and reviews of hatcheries (which I have poured over) but most of the reviews are older.
I ordered my first batch of chicks from them and I'm really worried... The woman I talked to on the phone was extremely rude and acted like any questions I had were a huge nuisance for her. I told her that I needed birds that wouldn't bully each other, and she said birds of EVERY breed will get along perfectly no matter what. Also she told me that in no instance EVER would a chicken harm another chicken. She said this all VERY rudely.
Seeing as this is my first experience ordering chicks... Ever... I was completely put off. First off, I know what she said wasn't true. Second, I talked to her for not even five minutes.
PLEASE PLEASE leave some positive reviews so that I don't feel so terrified about ordering from them
Side note: I am getting the free exotic chick from them, which I am VERY excited about. I know it will most likely be a Roo, but we have more than enough room for one and would gladly accommodate it!
*I'll update as the process proceeds and as I get my chicks (not due until April 2015)*

So, what did you order? And, I disagree that EVERY breed will get along. My docile Silkies and Cochins don't do well with other breeds, they tend to get picked on, for example. And, chickens bully each other everyday. They each have their place in the pecking order, and the ones at the top pick on the ones at the bottom to some degree or another every day. Its just what they do. And, you may get the occasional chicken that just picks at others excessively or is rejected by the others. Its my experience that most flocks get along fairly well, with minimal bullying, if their needs are being met. But, I have certain birds who just couldn't ease up and settle in.
