Muscovy Duck banging on coop door in the morning?

Probably the time change... ducks have an incredible internal clock and don't know what Daylight Savings Time is, so as far as they're concerned you're letting them stay out late but keeping them inside too long.

My ducks start quacking up a storm at about 7:10 now (we usually let them out at 8:10). They should adjust within a few weeks...
My dogs are the same way regarding the time change. If we aren't feeding them at their designated time due to the end of daylight savings time, they are in our face letting us know it's time to eat. Especially if you tend to animals at the same time everyday, jumping the clock back doesn't affect them, but the later feeding does.

When my ducks know that I am out there in the morning to let them out, they are hanging on the door and hardware cloth window to be let out. Then as soon as the door is open, they all waddle out in a line and flap their wings ready to take on the day. Silly birds.
